Doctoral Defense of Juan J. Aucar on Relativity in Electrical and Magnetic Properties
In an academic session of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences (FACENA) of the National University of the Northeast (UNNE), Juan J. Aucar, a graduate in Physics and a member of the Institute for Modeling and Technological Innovation (IMIT), successfully defended his doctoral thesis entitled "Inclusion of Relativity in Electrical and Magnetic Response Properties."

The presentation took place on July 30, 2025, and addressed a cutting-edge topic with significant implications for the scientific community. It was held in the FACENA Graduate Classroom and was attended by a distinguished jury, colleagues, and members of the academic community, both in person and virtually.
Juan Aucar's research, guided by the expert direction of Dr. Alejandro F. Maldonado and co-directed by Dr. Juan I. Melo, was presented with a clarity and depth that captivated the audience. Juan José not only offered an excellent presentation but also demonstrated extensive knowledge by competently answering each of the questions posed by the prestigious jury. His mastery of the subject and his ability to articulate complex concepts were widely praised.
At the end of his defense, in an emotional moment, Juan José Aucar expressed his deep gratitude. He first thanked God, and especially his father, whom he recognized as his guide in the world of science and the architect of his love for physics. He also extended his gratitude to all the people and institutions that contributed in various ways to the realization of this important academic achievement.
Dr. Juan J. Aucar's successful thesis defense represents a milestone not only for him, but also for IMIT and UNNE, consolidating the institution's commitment to high-quality research and the training of excellent professionals in the field of science.
