Mathematical modeling applied to engineering

In the framework of the IMIT Seminar cycle and in collaboration with the Laboratory of Computational Mechanics (LAMEC), Dr. Mauro Innocente, professor at the University of Conventry, gave a talk on "Mathematical modeling applied to engineering".

The talk was aimed at showing the many applications of mathematical modeling in different fields and for this he defined mathematical modeling as: "A model is the representation of a real system or phenomenon in mathematical terms"
