IMIT celebrates student participation in PIIES research internships
IMIT celebrates student participation in the PIEES. The Institute for Modeling and Technological Innovation (IMIT) is proud to announce that on December 12th, certificates were awarded to the students and professors who participated in the 2024 First Call for Research Internships for Secondary School Students (PIEES), within the framework of Resolution 2023-1042 of the UNNE University School of Engineering (CSUNNE).


The event took place at the First Lieutenant of the Argentine Air Force Miguel Ángel Giménez Secondary School, located at San Martin 130, Paso de la Patria, San Cosme, Corrientes, and was attended by distinguished officials:
- Ms. Nanci Orrego: Principal of the Secondary School.
- Ms. Patricia Blatter: representing IMIT.
- Prof. Cinthia Gonzales: Vice Principal of the Secondary School.
- Prof. Alejandra Hernando: Undersecretary of Academic Affairs at UNNE.
- Mr. Ezequiel Nardelli: Coordinator of Regional Centers at UNNE.
- Leopoldo José Payes: Coordinator of Technical Secondary Schools at UNNE.
- Ms. Claudia Lovera: Representative of the Institute for Modeling and Technological Innovation (IMIT).
- Ms. Cecilia Osnaghi: Councilor of the Municipality of Paso de la Patria.
Dr. Gustavo Aucar, Director of IMIT, also participated via video, with an encouraging message and thanks to all who participated in this innovative initiative. Link to the video message.
This initiative, promoted by UNNE, recognizes the effort and dedication of students, professors, and researchers in developing research projects. At IMIT, we celebrate the participation of the educational community in the PIEES and value the opportunity to strengthen ties between high schools, universities, and CONICET.
