The event brought together hundreds of secondary school students and teachers from the region, who enjoyed a wide variety of workshops, exhibition booths, and guided tours coordinated by researchers, professionals, and students affiliated with the institute.

Highlights among the offerings presented by IMIT included:

"Farmeando AUREUS" (Farming AUREUS) – Getting to know *Staphylococcus aureus* as a food contaminant: Led by the BiMIA group, this playful, interactive activity aimed to raise awareness about the presence of this pathogenic microorganism in food and the consequences of foodborne illness.

Production and tasting of colorful microcapsules containing mandarin essential oil: Developed by the Quimobi group, this demonstration booth sparked great interest among attendees.

Wind engineering for sustainable development: An in-person guided tour of the Aerodynamics Laboratory and the "Jacek Gorecki" Wind Tunnel at the Faculty of Engineering (Resistencia), where visitors learned about the role of aerodynamics in environmental studies and the assessment of wind loads for solar farms.

Workshops and experimental activities: Initiatives designed to bring physics and the exact sciences into secondary school classrooms, fostering an interest in scientific careers among the younger generation.

At IMIT, we celebrate the enthusiasm shown by the presenters and the strong turnout from the participating schools, reaffirming the value of public science that is open to the community.
