INSTITUTIONAL SEMINAR

Applications of Solar Thermal Energy

In her presentation, Dr. María Eugenia Álvarez Bermúdez referred to the energy crisis and global warming, which have driven research into alternative energy methods and sources. In this seminar, she presented some of the current solar thermal technologies and the analysis of their performance. The seminar was carried out in a hybrid format, with a very interested and participative audience.

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, in the graduate classroom of the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences and Surveying of the National University of the Northeast, the Institutional Seminar entitled "Applications of Solar Thermal Energy" was held.
On this occasion and in distance learning mode, we had the presence of Dr. María Eugenia Álvarez Bermúdez, Director of the Schools of Production Engineering and Chemical Engineering of the Metropolitan University of Venezuela, an outstanding personality in her field of study.
